I'm BACK from the doctor's appointment!

So things are ooooook.  My BP was down slightly when I went there (130/86).  I am usually around 98/68 (I have very low BP normally!)

Buuuuut, I have been officially diagnosed with toxemia.  Sigh.  Still a lot of swelling, but the baby's h/b was good, he's moving around a lot.  

I am being sent to L&D tomorrow for some monitoring (non-stress test, BP check, and bloodwork).  Based on that, the doctor will determine whether or not to admit me to the hospital (for what I assume is the rest of my pregnancy).  

No matter what I will have NSTs twice a week from now on.  This isn't the best news ever, but it's the best I could hope for at this point, I guess!

Glad to hear they are keeping a good handle on it though. ?Im sorry you're having to go through all the pre-e/toxemia crap. ?My SIL delivered her little girl at 35 weeks because of it, and my niece was small but still did just fine. ?So although its scary, you and your little one sound like you are in good hands. ?I hope everything looks good at the hospital tomorrow and maybe you won't have to stay in the hospital the rest of the time...crossing my fingers for you!

It's a good news bad news sorta thing, but I'll take it!!  I'm so sorry for the toxemia diagnosis, but I'm thrilled your little guy is hanging in there.

I hope you get to come home from L&D tomorrow!!!

Even though there was good news today, lets hope tomorrow brings better news and you'll be home after the L&D 'visit'!!

I am so glad they are taking this seriously and watching you so closely!  I will definitely say a prayer that your blood work comes back looking great!

I'm glad your little guy gets to stick around in there a little longer. Sorry about the toxemia diag. Sounds like you and the LO are in great hands though. All the best!

Well I'm really glad to hear that your bp was down!  I hope that you don't have to be admitted for the remainder of your pregnancy but at least you and baby will be monitored closely then.
