Is there anything that you wanted/needed/loved while on bedrest? A dear friend of mine just got put on bedrest for signs of pre-e. I want to send her a care package so any suggestions would be great!! Thanks!

Gum, Candy, Snacks, Bottled Water, Magazines (even stuff you do not normally read), Granola Bars, Journal, Scrapbook stuff, puzzle books, phone calls, visits, gift card for take out (so the DH does not have to do everything all the time), books, Netflix subscription, comfy pj's and socks
What I think I loved the most is when my hairdresser came to my house to do highlights before the little man arrived...it was such a treat.
i really like pamela's ideas!! i also loved when people made us freezer meals! SUCH a lifesaver!!
Ditto meals! It was awesome when people cooked for us. One friend had dinner from our favorite restaurant delivered to our house one night - that was fantastic!
Otherwise, books and magazines were good, plus movies or TV shows on DVD. And snacks are always appreciated - cookies, candy, crackers, etc. Easy to grab and munch stuff.
I also just liked when people came to visit me, especially on weekdays when DH was at work. Friends would bring me lunch and we'd hang out and chat - that was always nice.

I agree with the previous suggestions, especially meals, that is a huge help! Has she read the Twilight series? I read all 4 books in 4 days while I was on bedrest. They really grab you and keep you in the story so it is a great escape.
Magazines, books, movies, crossword puzzles, Sudoku puzzles. The crossword and Sudoku puzzles were great because I actually had to think about them so it was exercise for my brain.
Re: If you were or if you are on bedrest...
I was on it for 4 months.

The best thing I received when I was on bed rest (for 4months) was from my in-laws- they had a housekeeper come in twice a month.
