Growth update on my little guy, not so great.

My Drs office just called and said he was not thrilled with the last u/s results.  Apparently my little one is, well, too little.  They are sending me for a level 2 to get a "better idea of whats going on" and will be making decisions from there.  If you could spare some prayers that they let him hang in there long enough to bake a few more weeks, I would appreciate it.  Also, he is still breech so it looks like we will be having a c-section either way , not the news I was hoping for.

Hi Lplassman, can I ask why you origninally had the u/s? I only got one at 17 weeks so I'm always nervous as to how my little man is growing.

I hope everything is ok.  I know there are some exercises you can do that can help a baby turn and the book Hypnobirthing talks about ways to get baby to turn naturally and a controlled study showed it was effective almost 80% at getting baby to turn, so if the u/s goes ok you might look into those.

I know how scared you must be...and I am thinking of you. Our little Laynie is a bit small also and we will have to start having lots of extra visits/tests starting at 32 weeks. Just remember that you are under excellent care and your little man is going to be just fine!

I had one at 30 weeks to check cervical length because I have so many bh cntxs that started really early.  That is when they noticed he was a bit small, so this was a scheduled follow up.

Oh honey. I'm sorry! Haven't checked in in a while so I didn't know you're little one is breech. Halle is too so I guess we'll know in 2 weeks when we have another ultrasound what the game plan is. Your doctor's already said to plan on a c-section?
