Why does it hurt? ?I would expect it to hurt after a vaginal delivery, but not after a c-section, because in theory, nothing moved around down there, right? ?There was no damage from tearing or pushing. ?

Or was it just painful because I'd been on pelvic rest since January? ?

It gets back to normal eventually, right? ??

I think it has to do with hormones and if your BFing it can cause you to be more dry down there, causing pain. It will get better. :-)

it was HORRIBLE for me and everybody told me it was the bf'ing, but it was still bad for me for a while after i stopped bf'ing...BUT it did get better

honestly for me, it took a while..mostly because i didn't want to do it at all for a while because of lack of drive and fear of pain..so i wasn't totally back to normal til about 6 months pp..

but i think i was extreme..hope its better for you!

i think it just takes some "working it out" so..go for the lube and do what you can..baby steps

BAD BAD BAD for me too.

And I was shocked like you.  I thought it was the one thing that I might be spared thanks to a section.

It was like being re-virginized.  For a while.

 BF'ing does make it really bad for me.
