Thanks for all your great tips. I called the company we are buying our seeds from and got a lot of helpful info too.  According to them, they said grass will be full in 2-3 weeks.  DD's party is in 6 weeks, so we should be okay. I really appreciate all the helpful tips. Thanks!

    No problem! I don't want you to think my husband passed you off to Lowes website. He said he was googling something for you and came upon the link that explains as good as he could.
