mega bloks or m&d cardboard blocks?

i got dd some blocks awhile ago but they are too small for her to use right now so i'm looking for a new set. she has stacking boxes that she is really into lately so i'm thinking she would enjoy blocks even more.

anyone have either? and at what age did ur dc start building? tia!

This is a hard one!  I think she would like either!  Paige loves the mega blocks because they "stick" together but she has never played with the cardboard blocks - but I bet she would love them too!  That is a toughy!  I would have to say either!

That is a hard choice.  I think DD would like both.  But for now, I would go for the cardboard blocks. At the preschool I worked at, kids love the cardboard blocks.  I think those will go along way.

Haven't tried out the cardboard ones but dd loves mega bloks.
