Action hero movies....

I am not looking to start a real debate just curious. My DS (who is almost 3 1/2 yrs old) loves all action heroes (spider man, iron man, silver surfer, etc.). He is obsessed with watching spider man movies (well all but the 3rd one that we wont let him watch). I am just curious, do you let your toddler watch movies like this particularly spider man? We have let him watch it before and he always asks. I dont think they are really bad but there are a few scenes in them that have fighting which I try to FF when I am around...

Ethan (3.5) thinks superheroes are cool but has never seen one of their movies. I haven't either, but I think the fighting might be a bit much for a 3.5 year old. They like to emulate what they see, so it might be hard for them to not act out fighting with friends after they've been watching something like that. JMO, though, and like I said, I don't really know what they're like. I guess I can just think of more age appropriate movies.

I don't let DS watch stuff that like generally speaking although he has been watching Stargate with DH lately.  I just feel like it's too much for him and generally he's not even interested in those kinds of movies.
