2nd Trimester

Finally exercised and felt fantastic!! Workouts needed!!

Yesterday I went swimming for the first time since I found out I was pregnant. Morning sickness and fears of repeat miscarriage kept me away, but let me tell you.....It felt awesome! Before getting pregnant I was playing soccer, hockey, running and working out about 5 days a week. Getting back into it was the best, so great I went again today and will most likely go 5-7 days a week. Once school is back in, i'll be teaching phys.ed classes everyday so I plan on getting back into the weights in the next couple of days  too in preparation. Any suggestions for pg workouts?

  • Drink lots of water, stay inside on hot days and listen to your body.  I'm still loving all the classes I did pre-preg, especialy step because there's no jumping.  My neighbor swears by pregnancy pilates - she's an instructor.  I may try that next.
