My Beautiful son Liam born Feb, 2011!!
Yes, although he's usually always sleepy still (except for 11PM - 4AM!) pedi said tylenol might make him more sleepy. He pretty much slept through the entire day.
Our miracle IVF baby - D 6/09 & J - Surprise! born 9/10!!!
We had ours in the evening for this reason. She was very tired afterwards and irritable. I gave her some tylenol before bedtime and she slept through the night. She was back to her "normal" self the very next morning.
Henry just got his 2 month vaccines last week - he took like a 5 hour nap afterward, got up and ate, then slept for another 5 hours. I think the crying wore him out a bit + the tylenol I gave him made him sleepy + the immunizations themselves kinda make them feel a bit crummy...
I know the last time I got a bunch of immunizations I felt like crapola about 2 hours after I got them and it lasted a few days (I got a flu vaccine, the last of my gardacil series, hep A, a tetanus booster, and menactra before traveling overseas a few years ago). After that experience I totally feel bad for my kids every time they get several vaccines at once... I don't think it hurts them but I do think it's a lot for the immune system to handle at once and makes ya feel crummy. Doesn't suprise me one bit the little ones need to sleep it off a bit.
