Pregnant after a Loss

I really feel like I'm going to lose my mind! (TMI)

I know I am so early. I keep comparing everything this time to last. I have more symptoms this time, for which I am happy. My boobs are not that sore today and I haven't been very nauseous lately. When does the real nausea kick? I'm going crazy and I want to call the dr. to change my apt from the 31st to sooner, but then I don't because I want to have a good visual. I just want to know it will be okay this time.

Also, and here is the TMI, but I am wondering about it. Last night, me and DH were, um, doing the hump-d-hump, and when I O'd I had a huge cramp, almost tearful, in my lower abdomen. Is this normal when a woman O's (Not ovulate)? It went away quickly and I haven't had any other cramps, just that one right when I O'd! That would really suck if I quit doing it because of the cramp! Boy, that would be a long 9 months for DH. I just wonder if it is implanting or the contracting of the uterus is making the cramp.

  • One by the time you get a BFP implanting is normally OVER. But you uterus might be a bit sore from implantation. So you might want to hold off the hump-d-humping til after you talked to your Doctor about the cramp you felt.

Two Nausea can start at any time but normally start around 6 weeks.

Three DO NOT CHANGE YOUR APPOINTMENT Going in too early can cause you more grief than its worth. Keep the date and be happy you don't need to go in early for any reason.

Four Just a reminder Symptoms come and go. Loss or gain of a symptom doesn't mean ANYTHING!

    Five Big hugs just becuase!

  • Thanks. I know you guys understand. I don't want to complain to friends because 2 very close friends just went through a mc and are still TTCAL. So I really am trying not to say anything, well, just because I've been there and the last thing I wanted to hear was someone complaining about pg symptoms. I'll call my dr today. Thanks.
  • Okay, called my Dr. She said it was totally normal. She also said there might be a little bleeding right afterwards, too, which I had last pg but not this one. She said it is not hurting the baby at all. Sigh. This is going to be a long 9 months, wonderful, but long.
  • Breath........ Deeply....... EVERYTHING is going to be ok! Wink
