OPK, I can't tell if it's positive

there are definitely two lines, the test line is darker but it's thinner so would you count that as positive?

  • OPKs are so hard. Keep testing, and keep sexin'

  • OPKs never worked for me.
  • On my positives, the test line is always quite a bit thinner.  Just make sure it is as dark or darker than the control.

When in doubt, you cna get digitals to use only on these occasions when it looks like it might be a +

I've used OPKs for the first time last month and mine test line was equally dark as the control line but not necessarily as thick.

I'm going to switch to digitals this month b/c I don't want to have to scrutinize an OPK. If I'm scrutinizing anything, I want it to be an HPT!

    Good luck!

  • When I first used the OPKs, I kept wondering, "Is this it?  Is this it?"  I was so confused.  But when you get the +, it becomes really obvious when you compare it to the others (keep your tests so you can see the difference.)  As pps said, the color is what you are looking at, not the thickness of the line.  The color should be dark, like the reference window.  If you see a pale pink line, you're not there yet.
