My doctor is willing to ride along my 1st ride back on the CrazyTrain! I'm going to OOT during my 1st cycle back on meds, and I had the nerve to ask if I could just do my follie scan OOT. He thought about it, and said "sure, why not?" He'll fax an order to my SIL's OB/GYN (or maybe the RE there, I'm not sure yet) and we'll go from there.
Q - Ovridel has to be kept chilled, right? So do I fill it here or carry the script and fill it there? Most pharms carry it, or can get it within a day or two, right?
And I would love your guess on this... last time we did 50 clomid cd3-7. I didn't get crap for eggs until cd17 or so, 1 lead and 2 mere ones to follow, triggered cd19. BFN. But the next month BFP (then MC, then BFP/MC again)
So Doc's thoughts were 100 clomid & ovridel again. Since I'm NOT going in 3 times for a follie check like last time (we had NO idea what was going to happen) just ONCE... what day should I go in for the check? Guess!
Thanks ladies. you rock.
Re: Woot! Woot! I'm still on the train !
Hmmm, follie check on the 17th or 18th? I have no idea :-)
choo choo!
yes, the ovidrel needs to be refrigerated--but i wonder if it's like follistim, which is kept in the fridge but is also fine out of the fridge for 14 days. can you find a product insert online? i might call a pharmacy near SIL and see if they carry it or how fast they would get it.
and no idea about the second question.
but yay!!!! good luck!
nice having a husband who thinks of everything..
"it Can be at room temp for 30 days, can fill in seattle, most should carry. Will be $113 copay (50%). If you get a IM hcg (human, instead of recombinant ) it would be cheaper, like $38 for Novarel.
Anyone use NOVAREL instead ?
Yep. it can be kept room temp.
One thing that you might want to consider is that if you've never done 100mg before and you're not going to have as much monitoring, now might not be the right time to change dosages. We've all heard stories of girls who didn't think those teeny follicles would catch up and then were faced with a HOM situation. Just something to think about.
