D&C and period

I had a mmc and d&c 4.5 weeks ago. I've been bleeding on and off (more on) since then. Last week I had a few days on no spotting and then some spotting the next day. Today I started to bleed much heavier and have had some cramping and back aches. Could this be my period? I really can't tell because I really never stopped bleeding.

It's hard to say.  I only spotted for a about 2 weeks after my D&C and had a period 5 1/2 weeks after.  The timing is about right for it to be AF...

I am five weeks post d&c and have been bleeding/spotting off and on the entire time.  The past three nights I have had horrible cramps and the bleeding picks up.  However, during the day the bleeding is usually light to nothing.  I think the bleeding and cramping is still from the d&c but I am hoping AF will be here by the weekend.  I think it's my body just getting ready for it.  Glad to know I'm not the only one experiencing this.

I only spotted for the first week after my d&c, and AF returned around 5 1/2 weeks later. Wish I was more help......You may want to call your doctor just to be on the safe side.
