Success after IF

Mrs Reems update!

If you are on Angie's local board, please do not repeat this info there... No need for full scale panic and there are lurkers everywhere!

I just got a message back from Angie and she is doing fine. She is optimistic and right now Ana is cooperating!

When she went in for her NST, she was in fact contracting and her cervix has shortened to 2.6. She was not feeling the contractions, and there is some concern about taking terb due to her heart issues. They did give  her some, complications ensued, but right now she has stopped contracting and Ana is staying put. She is home on limited activity, though not on complete bed rest but has  help with Katen. They are hoping no more contractions, and should there be,  she would likely have to take terb, which means super close monitoring due to her heart which would in turn mean hospitalization.... So let's hope no more contractions, ok?

The good news is right now, all is well! and it WILL stay that way!

  • Prayers being said for no more contractions. Hang in there, Reems!
  • Thanks for sharing the update.  I sent an email to her this morning to see if I could do anything for her, as I'm local. I'm so glad she's ok, and so is Ana.  Limited activity and Katen don't mix well...  :(  I'll see if I can help her out at all this weekend, and I know there are lots of other local nesties who would love to help, should she decide to share.  The DM board misses our Angie!

  • Thanks Skoorb.

Hang in there Reems!  Limited activity is going to be hard for you I can tell, but doctor's orders must be followed!!!  We need Ana to stay put for a lot more weeks!

  • Thanks for the update.  Hoping for super good news in the weeks ahead.
  • Oh thank goodness things are calm for the moment! How scary! I am praying that Ana stays put, that the contractions stop and that everyone continues to do well.
It took over four years to be diagnosed with PCOS. We TTC #1 for 18 months, did 5 rounds of Clomid and finally moved onto IVF...which worked! Throughout our IF journey, we suffered 3 miscarriages. We conceived both DD and DS without treatment.

  • Thank you for the update!  How overwhelming.  That's great news for now though -- many prayers said for both Mommy and baby.

  • I haven't been able to log on all day due to running errands with my DH...and I practically ran in from downstair to look for this the minute we got home.

Continued thoughts coming for Reems and Ana...stay put little one...stay put!

  • Thinking of her, I hope She is well and that Ana is still nice and comfy where she should be.
