Hello ladies. Today we found out my little girl has very low fluid and I am being induced. She should be here tomorrow or Friday. I am looking for any and all advice you have concerning what to do while she is here. I was supposed to take the breastfeeding class next weekend so I'm nervous about that. I realize we won't know how long she will be here until she is born, but any tips you have for how to mentally prepare would be great. Thanks.

Re: Looking for help
In re: to breastfeeding - you will get more help in a NICU situation than you normally would, so don't worry about that yet. You should have access to a free (or insurance charged) LC the whole time your baby is in the NICU and the nurses there will be able to help you as well.
It's difficult to leave the hospital without your baby -I'm not sure there's anyway to prepare for that. Just make sure you get rest before she gets home. Also, accept any offers of help! It's hard to recover from childbirth, the stress of having a preemie and shuttling back and forth to the NICU. If anyone offers to clean, shop, make you meals, take them up on it!
Good luck and update us when you can!
