baby trend?

Sorry for all the baby gear posts tonight, but it's just eating away at my mind lol.  Anyway,  anyone going with any baby trend products? 

Car seat?   stroller?   PNP? 

What are your thoughts on this brand?

I picked Graco for the car seat and PNP (snug ride and Modern). The stroller is a BOB revolution. I basically picked them because they were ranked an A in the Baby Bargains book.

I have Baby Trend PnP and LOVE IT! It's soo cute, my husband and I got it all together and set up pretty quickly.  Only downside is that is a little heavy, but similar weight to other PnPs. 

 

As far as travel systems, my BFF has one and I have pushed it around and have found that it doesn't have the best steering.  Although they use it everyday to go for an hour long walk, plus other trips and uses and it's still in great shape after almost a year.  I also do not like their latches because they are plastic and just a pain in the rear.

 I want to stay away from plastic too. And i did notice that the back latches on the BT are plastic, but the front is metal.  the only other metal latch ones I saw was the Chicco brand.  Have you found a brand that has all metal latches?

evenflo has all metal latches on both the infant car seat and the convertible car seat

the thing you push in to adjust the straps on the back are plastic but the actual part that holds the strap is metal.

 

I have evenflo aura travel system and the evenflo titan elite convertible car seat

We have a Baby Trend PNP.  We like it, though there is no baby in it yet.  We test drove the travel system and I am pretty sure we broke it.  It was very difficult to fold.  We couldn't even get it unfolded and had to leave it closed up in the store.

The Lungos

We got the Baby Trend travel System with DD in 2007 and have been really happy with it. We are going to use it again when DS arrives this winter. The Infant seat is east to use and carry and we still use the stroller with DD. It took a little time and trial to get the hang of folding and un foding the stroller and getting it in the trunk, but after a couple tries it is really easy to use.
