Looks like my little men are going to need them. The therapist told me that lots of multiples get them since they are so smushed in the womb...then they are more inclined to lay on the spot on their head that is already flat when they're outside the womb. Poor little guys. I feel badly that people will look at them funny and I can't take cute pictures of them without it on them.
We will get reevaluated in 4 weeks. Insurance companies usually require 2 months of repositioning before they will cover the banding.
Re: Anyone else's LOs need cranial banding?
My girls both have somewhat "flat heads", but my pedi said that she isn't worried until the forehead sticks out. She also said it should correct itself when they can hold their heads up. It is already getting better since we got our Bumbo and are doing less time on their back.
So sorry for your little guys.
