What did your doctor do next?

I got the results of my second beta today. It went from 47 to 297 (after 4 days) so it seems like it is doubling every 36 hours.  My progesterone also went from 42 to 49.  All this seems adequate/good.  What is next?  Do I keep having betas?  I'm waiting for the nurse to call and tell me what the next step is.

Congrats on great #'s. I think it depends on your doc. Mine did 3 draws but I also had an ectopic my previous pregnancy.

Your numbers sound great! Congrats! After my numbers were run my OB had an U/S done around 6 weeks to make sure there was a heartbeat and everything looked good. After that I was pretty much treated like a non-high risk pregnancy and had periodic appointments, then the NT Scan 13 weeks, then 20 week U/S etc. Hope that helps and congrats!

I nagged my nurse to try to get the Doctor on the phone until I gave up and scheduled a first appointment for 7 weeks. Which really isn't all that long to wait.

After my first 2 betas, I just wait for my first appointment at 8 weeks! Congrats on the good-looking numbers!

Wonderful! I had my first appointment scheduled for 8 weeks already, so after betas it was just sit back & wait for a few weeks.
