NBR: Dilemma, what to do?

So my cw in the cube next to me really bugs me and I try not to talk to her as much as possible (I posted on the slap day post).  Well today she brought in cake for her boss' birthday and sent out an email to us about the cake.  I really want cake but the thought of going to her desk to get it makes me wonder if it's worth it.

Do I suck it up and go get some cake or wait and grab some crappy hostess thing at the gas station on my way home?

I say no cake, but I don't really like most cakes, so it's an easy call for me.  If you really want the cake, you could justify getting it by "accidentally" stepping on her foot when you get it.

i love the "accident" idea... personally, i'd go get the cake just bc i've been craving cake for days on end... might have to make some cake tonight.. but then i'd have a whole cake in my house... not cool... would prefer just a piece of wedding cake... mmm... sorry.. off subject go get some cake and step on her foot!

I have to say this made me lol!  I have a similar situation and I would not get the cake.  I would just make a cake at home myself or pick up the Tasteycake on your way home.  A quick cake you can make and that is really simple and low calorie is a cola cake.  It requires 3 things: diet soda (I use a can 12 oz of A-treat diet cream soda), white cake mix , and icing.  Bake for 17-20 minutes at 350 and you have a yummy cake that didn't require you to take to your annoying co-worker!

Get some cake! You didn't have to make it.  Cake is yummy! Then I'd give a slightly snooty "thanks!" and leave with the goods!

Umm, since I'm baking a double-layer white cake w/homemade white icing as we type.....

I'd probably suck it up and eat the cake.....although that's the reason I've put on 25 lbs since my BO, I keep baking darn cakes, cookies, cobblers, etc.

I have made a decision, I'm going to stop at the store, buy what I need and surprise h with a cake.  Then this way I'll also have cake to bring into work with me in the morning!

Make sure to write "I Hate <insert cw's name>" on the cake.  Make some of it illegible when you take a couple of pieces tonight and then bring the rest in to work tomorrow.

The cake is so easy! All you have to do is mix the ingredients (soda and cake mix) and bake.  I made one last night and it's great.

The cake is so easy! All you have to do is mix the ingredients (soda and cake mix) and bake.  I made one last night and it's great. 

This cake idea sounds Fab. I must try it.
