XP: RE after m/c

I went in for my 8 week appointment two weeks ago and the baby's heartbeat stopped at 7 weeks.  I was actually released from the RE a week prior and the ob/gyn delivered the bad news.

I finally just left a message at the RE's office to give me a call. I do not want any fertility treatments at this time but I do want to go back on Metformin (took me off because I was pg).  I am afraid they are going to make me take the GTT again and I am at the point where I am sick of doctors and tests and want to be left alone.

My questions is if you had a m/c or stopped seeing the RE for a little time did they make you do all the tests again?  I am afraid if I take some time off I will have to go through more monitoring cycles and another HSG.  I am really hopeful if I continue diet and exercise I will get pg on my own (since I started to ovulate again with just weight loss and met).

    I'm sorry for your loss.  I don't have any advice, but I don't see why they wouldn't let you go ahead and take the metaform.  My OB highly recommends metaform for me (I'm PCOS) even though my GTT came back normal.

    But I did want to say I'm so glad to see another WVU fan here.  I saw your screenname and had to reply.  I graduated from WVU a few years ago.  Go Mountaineers!!!!!
