Did your cat/dog change after your BFP?

Crazy question: Can animals tell that you're pg?  I know they are supposed to have a sixth sense when it comes to some things but can they tell when you're ku?  I swear, my cat is all over me lately!  Meowing more, constantly walking all over me, very snuggly, etc.  Is it just me or has anyone else had this happen???

I actually didn't start noticing a difference in my dogs until recently. They have started sniffing my belly which is really strange, and they always have to be in the same room as me if not right by my side. My one dog is also obsessed with the nursery. She always goes in there to lay down and she peeks into the crib. She likes when I play the mobile too..it's very cute!

My dog followed me around all the time...like in the kitchen, and bathroom...neither place does he ever go on his own.  I think my hormones have changed since I have gotten further along though because he isn't as clingy...he just occasionally sniffs my belly lol.  I heard cats are worse!

YES!!!  My cat has been acting so strange lately.  He does not want to leave my side, and is being weirder then usual.

yes my dogs can definitely tell- the one is all.over.me and she used to be on my most of the time but would always always lay on my legs, now she schootes her way up and puts her head on my belly any chance she gets

My dog has always been attached to my hip, lol! He has cuddled up under my belly a few times though. :-)

If I ever napped on the couch, my dog would be in my face at 4 o'clock sharp-dinner time. Now when I nap, she does not move a muscle until I get up. I love it!

I think my dog knows. He's normally a huge cuddle bug (lounging across my tummy) and since about 8 weeks he won't even come near my belly. Yet he still does it to DH.

Yes my cat has been following me more and meowing when I'm not paying attention to her. She was like that the previous time I was pg so I had a clue this time something must be up.

My dog got really really weird as soon as I started to mc. Since then, she really has preferred my DH to me. The entire time I bled she would shake when I would come too close to her. That must have left a memory with her, because she never really cuddled with me much after that if we were both in the room.

Now, though, especially in the past 2 weeks, she has been crazy close to me. She lays on my stomach, right on top of baby, and if I get out of bed, she lays down in my spot and waits for me to come back!

I don't have any pets, but I noticed that while I'm pregnant dogs and cats are much more cuddly and friendly to me.
