1. Fits in and out of doors and around aisles easier than a side by side
2. Good sized basket
3. Just like the metrolite so nothing new to learn
4. Fits in the trunk of my Accord (sedan) pretty easily
Cons:
1. It's mammoth and heavy but all doubles are.
FWIW - I bought one used off Craigslist and we used it maybe 5 times. Mine are 17 months apart. I wore the baby when he was an infant and just used the single. When the baby was older the toddler preferred the sit and stand so he could get in and out easier.
With the double I spent most of my time lifting the toddler in and out because he didn't want to stay seated all the time (especially at places like the zoo).
If I had it to do over again I wouldn't have gotten a double at all but would have just done the single with baby wearing to start and then the sit and stand.
Have you investigated any of the sit and stands that have removable second seats?
Might be more versitile in the long run for you.
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
Its fits in my car fine. The kids love it. Most all snugfit (I think that's the name of it) Graco carseats fit in it. It goes over gravel and cracks in the street fine and is easy to manuver (sp?).
My kids are 22 months apart. I don't have any complaints, it works pretty good for our family.
