What is Costco's return policy on software?

Their return policy seems to be that technology items have 60 or 90 days to return (maybe 6 mos) for any reason.  Like if you do not like something you can just bring it back - but I was wondering if that applies to software since if I was the one writing the return policy I would not take back items that can just be copied and then returned.  Either way I bought something I do not like and wanted to find out if I could just return it.
