I called my doctor's office yesterday because I had a sore throat, achy ears and felt a lot of pressure in my sinuses. I asked if I could take Tylenol since I felt a fever coming on - they said it was ok for a couple days as directed, but if the symptons persist to call my PCP to get treated.
So today I feel much better, but my nose is soooooo stuffy and won't stop running and making my eyes water - any suggestions? Its too late at night to call my doctor's office and I do not consider this an emergency! Going to bed shortly and I do not feel like dealing with this all night!
Thanks for any suggestions!

No, where do I get one and what is it? Nevermind...I can google it! Thanks!
almost anywhere. And sleep with an extra pillow, which will encourage drainage.
And maybe have some decaf tea, the steam might help.
Feel better!
Thank you, thank you. I will try the decaf tea now, I have some of that. The other sugestions I may just have to try tomorrow if this keeps up since I am pretty sure Target & CVS are closed now (it's 9:12pm here).
Thanks again ladies!
I also recommend the Neti Pot and Breathe Right Strips. Duane Reade carries the Neti Pot and Sinu-Cleanse which is a mixture you can put into the pot...maybe you can find one open late. I feel your pain....I had a bad cold about a month ago that knocked me out for almost two weeks. Also, obvious but tea with lemon and honey really helped break up the mucous in the back of my throat (yuck).
