really nice step dad

So I got a call from my step dad today, which is strange because he isn't a person that enjoys talking on the phone, he wanted to let me know he was making me a changing table. He is going to build so that it can be used as storage/shelves when Tyler gets older. This was so touching to me because we haven't always been close, he married my Mom three years after my Dad died but I was young and didn't want him to "replace" my Dad. It is only in the last two or three years that we have actually become very close. I know he will never be my Dad but he is a man that I am proud to have my son call Grandpa.
