Weaning off progesterone? When did you stop?

My RE wanted me off at 10wks but my OB said 11wks.... so does that mean tomorrow or 11wks and a few days?  Did anyone wean off?  I've been lengthening the time between doses a bit but geez I'm so scared to stop taking it!!  When did you stop?

I have no idea! I will asking my OB about this on Friday. My pill bottle says till 10 weeks but I will be 3 day short of that when I run out if I don't wing myself before then. I say call you OB in the morning and Ask (if it not to late I would call now)

I stopped at 13 wks but it was a misunderstanding, I could have stopped at 12. My OB likes to build in extra time when prescribing progesterone.

My docs stop progesterone at 12w. I was 11w4d when I ran out and they said that was fine. No problems here!

I'm not sure there's a need to ween. The placenta is providing most of the progesterone by now, so anything from the supplements is just extra.

My doc is having me stop at eight weeks, which makes me a bit nervous. I'm on the suppositories, and I've already started using them every other day, to try to wean off rather than abruptly stop.

My dr told me I could of gone off after my 8 wk u/s but I continued because I still had quite a few pills left! I just quit entirely at 11w6d. No problems that I can tell!

I was planning on asking my OB tomorrow! I will be so excited if he says 11 weeks or something like that! I am soooooo over it. Even though I know it helps and of course I would do whatever I needed to for the little gummy bear...and yes, I will be afraid to stop too....but I am really wanting to be ready to stop.

My midwife told me to stop at 11 weeks...I had a few pills left so I just finished off the bottle and was done by 11 1/2.
