I'm 39 weeks tomorrow and so far still ZERO progress on any front...
I was just curious when the doc might start looking at his schedule and talking about possible calendar dates?
maybe tomorow if there's no progress again at that appointment?
They have already said that the longest they let anyone go is two weeks past their EDD.
What do you think?
Re: when did your doc start talking about inductions/stripping membranes?
not yet. my guess is they'll bring it up when i hit the 41 mark at the earliest.
it depends on your health and the health/size of the baby. Some people I have seen get induced at week 41. Mine wanted to induce me on this coming friday. But since there is nothing medically wrong with the baby ( other than I am a diabetic) I told them to wait til my actual due date of 8.17.
Also, my doctors office doesn't strip membranes. I forgot the actual reasoning behind it. But I know they aren't fans of internals. She only checked me today to see how effaced I was.
My OB said that if I didn't go into labor prior to my 40 week appointment, they'd schedule an induction.
I'll be induced on Thursday night, at exactly 41 weeks.
