I was out of town on a little "get my head back on straight" trip this weekend. I got home late last night and felt pretty good. In the stack of mail DH had set aside for me was an envelope from my OB. Inside was a card. It said "Congratulations on your new arrival" and was signed by all the girls in the office.

Are they perhaps referring to the arrival of depression? Or the arrival of doubts about the future? Maybe it's my new bitterness? Those are the only new things to arrive in my home in the last 6 weeks. AF's arrival last week was exciting, but hardly card-worthy...

Needless to say the card will be going with me to my f/u on Thursday along with some choice words about sensitivity.

On another note, because I was out of town and away from my computer for 4 days I'm just catching up on all of this weekend's posts.

I'm very very sorry for all of you just joining us.

Omg, I would be pissed too. I have gotten stuff in the mail too, but you would really think out of all people that your OB would know not to send that sh!t. Bless your heart...ugh

Exactly! Does no one in your OB's office keep records?! I would seriously give them hell.

Hey Kel, I hope you had a great weekend!! Do you think maybe they addressed that card to the wrong person? I think that would be pretty stupid and a waste of $.44 if it was suppose to be for you. It should have said "congrats on your AF visit! Hopefully you will only have to see her once more this year!" ... Ya I like that card way better.
