Big Ultrasound done this morning

Yay, we had the BIG Ultrasound this morning - HOW EXCITING!  I was skeptical b/c we weren't finding out the sex, so I wasn't sure how exciting it would all be, but OMG it was the coolest ever. Just to see a baby in there was great.  Our baby was moving like crazy!  The tech said the baby has attitude - haha.  I guess because it took her awhile to get clear shots from all the movement.  Heartbeat was 150 and the baby weighs 10 oz.  :)

I have to wait for the call from the Dr later this week to find out anymore.  Oh and it sounds like I will have another one in about a month b/c the tech couldn't get the clearest or best shot of the face.  The baby kept rubbing his/her eyes and turning around. 

 Anyway, it was an exciting morning. Let me know how all yuors went too.  :)

    Hi.  I'm curious because we're team green too... Did they tell you to look away at any point?  I'm a little afraid I'm going to see something accidentally at ours (on the 21st).

    Yes, she said "ok I am going to go check out the bladder, etc now so you probably want to look away."  We did, and then she told us when to look back.  It's weird though b/c then she did the legs, which were stretched out and so the picture of that shows "that" area too so we asked about that but she said oh that's just the umbilical cord.  It's so clear to see some things, but other parts are really hard.  No worries, you won't find out if you don't want to.  I know a lot of people who haven't found out and all had ultrasounds.  Good luck to you....it's exciting!

    Glad you enjoyed your u/s, I love seeing LO on the ultrasounds! I told DH that I would miss having u/s after the last one since I most likely won't have any more. He said we will see him soon enough though.. sigh.. I guess so.

    I wish I had a window in my belly to watch him every day! lol

    Now you are getting me all excited for my u/s tomorrow.  I can't wait.  I'm also Team Green. I guess we'll let the tech know right away that we don't want to know.
