Time to mow the lawn...TMI

Last night i went for a swim in our pool, i am trying to get the fat thighs to stop rubbing together...seriously where did they come from?!

Anyway, as i was getting out the pool my DH noted that my bikini area was looking a like a South American jungle (without the monkeys and poisionous frogs i hope!)

I thought i had been doing a good job keeping it tidy, but with the expansion of the belly i guess i had been missing areas, now the thing that is worrying me is that i am about to go on a girls cruise, and i hate to think that i 'm going to be walking about with spiders legs hanging out of the sides of my super cute swim suits.

So how are you dealing with keeping your bikini area tidy? Has anyone started to get waxes or have you let your DH loose with a razor?

I've let DH loose with the razor...and he hasn't knicked me or cut me at all...and he's VERY thorough!

I likewise let DH do the trimming and landscaping.  He use to do it b/4 I even got pregnant so he definitely is on full-time duty now, lol.  I told him to make sure to do it right b/4 I go in labor at the hospital to keep the nurses from having to do it, hehe.

And for an occassion like that, may I suggest a bikini wax or sugaring?  It works wonders and lasts WAY longer than any shave job!

I will not be letting DH loose with a razor. Ever. I guess I will trim/shave as long as possible and then take up waxing.

I have not got this far, but find this post rather interesting. DH with a razor near my punan is a little scary. I have always waxed before, but didn't know if it was the smartest thing anymore. I'm scared that the area will be a bit more sensitive now. Anyone else waxing? I'm curious to see if it is the same.

OP- I can still see my spider legs and shave as much as possible. I think my hair is growing a lot faster now and days.

I would not trust DH with a razor or anything! I use trimmers, and use a razor to shape up a bit, but it's not comfortable to try to see my area anymore. I have to hunch over and try to look over my bump.?

I'll be getting one of those snazzy suction-cup shower mirrors and just putting it a little lower on the tub than most people!!  I found one the other day, but it was a 10X mirror.  I have no desire to see my girly parts at a 10X magnification - so I'll have to wait until I see a regular one next time I get the energy to go shopping!

i used a beard trimmer, so far it's the best and DH doesn't have to do it for me

I have taken advantage of "Family Shower Time" so to speak and do my best on my own blindly by feeling around, but have him there to let me know if i missed anywhere and on occasion if I just can't get to it he will touch up for me...And it NEVER hurts to have him there to do a good back scrub/rub!

Lol thanks guys for your advice! I have to admit i think trying to get DH to tidy up for me will be a bit above and beyond what he is comfy with....but i like the sound of sugaring, it doesn't sound as painful as waxing. Last time i got waxed i ended up with the worse ever chicken rash urrgh!

At first I was wondering why mowing the lawn would be TMI. LOL. One of those days. I have spoken to DH about doing it and he has agreed, but I am way to nevous to have him and a razor down there. I am afraid I'll bob and he'll weave, and it will end with me never enjoying an orgasm again.

so far the bump isn't getting in the way, and all is normal...probably will go with DH helping out later on...
