(Another) dumb comment to make to a pregnant woman

CW: "Do you know what you're having?"

Me: "Not yet....few more weeks!"

CW: "Do you want a boy or a girl?"

Me: "We're actually hoping for another boy."

CW: *shocked* "Why!? You already have a boy! You need a girl."

Why even ask if you don't want the answer? It's not like anything I do/say is going to affect the baby's sex. I'm tired of being looked at like a horrible person for not wanting a girl. Of COURSE I will love my daughter if I have one. But, I do want another boy. There is NOTHING wrong with that.

Everyone keeps saying that I must have a girl. Even the lady that does my pedicure told me last night that I must have a girl to have the perfect family.

What is up with some people? It's an opinion so there's no right or wrong. I wanted a girl first and people were saying it's the American dream to have a boy and then a girl. Maybe we both don't want to be like everyone else.

LOL, I get this all the time.  Ideally I would like a boy then a girl and people think I am crazy for not wanting a girl.  Back off people!  I will love a little girl too!
