Yes. I really want to go and I KNOW its going to hurt. Its hot here and its outdoors but I wanna go. Its Slayer, Manson, Killswitch Engage. I wanna see Behemoth and Black Dalia Murder too, all the other bans like Trivium and Bullet for my Valentine super suck but I can ignore them. I have to be out of my mind. I am sure DH won't be able to get off so it won't matter but I feel dumb. I really want to go even tho I know I will be so tired and miserable at the end. I may very well be the only giant pregnant lady there too LOL
I'm too tired to sit here and get through my work today but going to a huge metalfest seems like a great idea...way to go bump brain.
Ugh.
Re: I must be out of my mind...a concert?!
I just went to the Tragically Hip last Thursday. And I would love to go to U2 in Vegas in October. However, it's less than a week before my due date so that's out of the question.
I say go for it!
You could always leave early if you really weren't feeling that good. And take a couple days off afterwards to recoup
My husband saw this here in Pittsburgh a couple weeks ago. It was really hot so I didn't go but he said it was pretty great. He went specifically to see Slayer and Cannibal Corpse.
AFI is coming here about 12 days after my due date and I can't decide if I should buy tickets or not. If I end up having a c section I'd probably regret that. I know I shouldn't but I'm really tempted.
i have tickets to blink182, weezer, and taking back sunday. i'll be about 38 weeks at that point...plus i'm measuring 2 weeks ahead. it's an outdoor show, but we have pavillion seats, so at least we'll be in the shade.
i am obviously insane. =]
You ladies are giving me hope that I'm not insane for going to a concert at 29 weeks (De La Soul) and 30 weeks (The Mars Volta) - we have a table at each so at least I can be sitting...
I'm just hoping that Them Crooked Vultures (Foo Fighters/Queens of the Stone Age/Led Zeppelin fans CHECK THEM OUT) don't schedule a tour date too close to my due date.
I really wanted to go to that RBF concert too over at Harrah's - but it's the night before my due date. I would probably be pushing it...
I did go see Blue October and Switchfoot about two weeks ago, by myself. I was giant (37 weeks) but it was a blast.
