1. Read Taking Charge of Your Fertility. The bible of TTC.
2. Chart your cycles to establish when you ovulate. Many of us do this. You can do it for free at www.fertilityfriend.com The tutorials are immensely helpful.
3. Keep in mind that it can take a healthy couple up to a year to conceive, and it can also take a while for a person's body to regulate after coming off BCP.
4. Patience is a valuable tool. While I hope you get KU fast when you want to, many of us have found the road to be a tad longer (or much longer) than perhaps first thought.
Have to say I am new to the whole ttc thing............thanks for the recommendations! Ive never been on BCP....and have no patience......Looks like Im screwed! lol
Welcome to the world of TTC! Hope it doesn't take long for you!
I had no idea how little I knew about TTC when I started. Along with Cathy's advise, I would start using an Ovulator Predictor Kit to test when your most fertile days are.
Also, the fertility monitor was great for me, I recommend it if you get tired of charting, which can be a pain after a few months. GL!
