Hiding pee sticks and silent happy dances (long)

So I went to northern MI to visit my family this weekend and let me just say that I felt like I was in HS sneaking around with some form of contraband. What an awful time to try and test! I stocked up on tests before I left and hid them in my bag. I tested Friday (11 dpo) and BFN. So I hid the pee stick and the wrapper under my pajamas (I couldn't exactly leave it in the garbage for my mom to find) and ran down the hall back to my old room to hide the evidence, again in my bag.

The next morning at 12 dpo--same routine--I POAS then run back down the hall to hide in my room and stare at it. I used an early result CVS test and I swear I see a line. I took a pic with my phone and texted it to DH who swears he sees nothing. Fortunately I had a girlfriend up there who was visiting her family the same weekend. So I hid the new pee stick in my purse (so now I have nasty used pee sticks stashed in all kinds of places) and go to see her later that day. She confirms the line and we run to get a pack of digitals. I POAS in the bathroom of a store with very diluted urine and get a BFN. So my girlfriend encourages me to do it again in the morning with FMU and not to be discouraged considering how I used weak pee.

Now we have a house full of guests (aunt, uncle, cousins) and I hide my test in my pajamas and sneak to the bathroom one last time. I wait for the little hourglass to flash, close my eyes and open them to see "pregnant." I do the most silent happy dance I can, hide the wrapper and the test and run back to my room to take a pic of it with my phone and text DH. Then I again hide the evidence in my bag.

I'm super excited to get back to Chicago to celebrate with DH but my mom asks me to stay one more night. So I'm finally back and can tell my news! I tried so hard to bump from my blackberry but the spotty service wouldn't allow it. I've missed everything! So I'll go back some pages and try my best to catch up.

When DH gets home I'm doing a loud happy dance! Now I have to empty my bag of all the wrappers and pee sticks. It might need to be washed!
