Great surprise!

Every time I see someone Aw-ing a beautiful hand made blanket or something like that, I get so jealous. I have no one who knits or does crafty stuff....or so I thought!! My grandmothers niece sent me a beautiful yellow blanket today! I TOTALLY didn't expect something and I've really only met them a few times. She sent it to my grandma who gave it to me today. I put it over the back of the glider for now Smile

    Those are definitely the best gifts!  My MIL passed away in April and had started and afghan for LO (that I didn't know about) and was unable to finish it before she passed, but my FIL's sister is a crocheter so she finished it and I got it at my shower.  It was the best gift LO could have ever gotten, it's in her diaper bag so we can bring her home from the hospital in it and then it's getting put away until she is older and can appreciate what a precious gift it is!

    my SIL made LO a croched stuffed bunny that is like 2 feet tall and rainbow colored it was so neat and adorable, we plan to put the baby beside and take monthly groth pictures with it! Handmade gifts are such great keepsakes!!!
