Movement as you near due date...

I keep hearing slowed movement before you go into labor.  I forget though is it just slowed movement or MORE active movement?

They say it slows down. Not for me though. This baby is still kicking my a$$ big time and it hurts.

From what my dr. said it is not supposed to slow down- it kind of changed the way it felt though since baby gets so big and there is not a lot of room for me.

My doctor said there should be no change in the frequency of movement, just what the movements feel like. As Baby Girl has run out of room, she still moves all.the.time, the movements are just much more controlled now and more rolls and turns and (attempted) stretches. No more kicking and punching and jerky movements for us. ?

Mine feels like its has slowed somewhat, the movements are not really jerky anymore.

I'm due this Thursday and my little guy has been a bit more active then usual. Lots of stretching and hiccuping and little repetitive movements like he's rooting for his thumb or I don't know what he's up to in there!
