AW: It's my birthday!

It's been a great day thus far... baby Henry ever so graciously went back to sleep after his 6:30 am feeding (he usually doesn't) and slept till 9! So I slept till 9! It was awesome!

When we got up I took all the kids to the mall to ride the carousel and play in the indoor playing/climbing area since it's in the 90's and disgustingly humid here. We had lots of fun! Then had some lunch... now the boys are napping (at the same time - which never happens!!)

So, I'm sitting here in a quiet house, nesting, eating a piece of cheesecake (my favorite! made by my mom)... life is good!!!

I had a bit of a "moment" yesterday... when blowing out the candles on my birthday cheesecake at my moms house...

I had a really hard time thinking of anything to wish for... the more I thought I realized that at this point in my life I have all the important things I ever wanted... which is an incredible feeling...

All the years leading up to this one (in my adult life anyway) I've always been longing for something... another child, a better job, a new relationship, to finish school without losing my mind, etc.... not this year though... So I made a wish for someone else instead of myself... it felt wonderful. And, all things considered in my life, I feel wonderful too.

Sorry for being longwinded and a tad sappy... it's just been that kind of day.
