TTC After a Loss

How dramatic is your temp shift?

I don't "chart" per say, but have in the past. I BBT randomly t/o the month and try to see when I O'd based on that. But my shift really is not that dramatic. High 96's before O and low 97's after. Sometimes I have that "ambiguous" temp b/c they are so close.

  • Ditto pp.  It's usually in the mid 97's before O, the coverline is high 97's, then the 2ww is 98's.

  • Mine is pretty substantial.  High 96 to low 97s before O and mid- to high-97s after O.  Charts in siggy.
  • Thanks ladies. It has been so long since I've actually charted I forgot how more "dramatic" the shift looks when you actually put it on a chart!

consistency is best.  you need to take the BBT at the same time every day after at least 3 hours of sleep.  randomly through the month won't give a clear picture.

I know.....I just try to keep it simple and not over obsess. I did chart before DD, but after I found a pattern, I just tried to FWP around the time I usually O'd.  It was easier when I worked and got up at same time every am. Now with DD it varies, and I don't sleep as well (wake up a lot) so I temp when I can, when I feel like it might be more accurate, and around AF and O. I give you ladies a lot of credit who do it consistently every month, it is a PITA!!

  • Charts in my siggy - like other pps, my temp shift isn't dramatic. Clear, but not that huge spike that some women get.
