My SIL just had a beautiful baby girl, while I am happy for them I can't help but cry. It physically makes me hurt and feel sick. I have nothing against them, it just reminds me of were DH and should have been. I feel horrible for DH. He left work to go home because it bothered him so much. This is so hard!

I know exactly how you feel. You want to be happy for others but it hurts so much. I hope time heals your pain. Be gentle with yourself it is hard for others who have not been through it to understand how you feel.

I am sorry for your pain.  Congrats on being an aunt.

I know how painful that can be.  On a similar note, my sister's "oopsie" baby (with the guy who is now her ex-bf) was born on my EDD and it was very painful.  Part of it is: why them, why not us?  And another part is: wouldn't it be great that the cousins would have been so close in age?  There are so many reasons that this sucks so bad.  Feel free to cry when you need to.  And you always have us here if you need to talk/vent/whatever.

I know that's got to be so hard.  My bff is due very close to my edd and though I'm very happy for her I just know it's going to be hard when she has her lo b/c every emotion is going to come back full force.  Take care of yourself and your DH and grieve as you need to.  My thoughts are with you guys.
