I was at a restaurant last week and there was a family beside us.  The Mom said that her 18mth DD loves dipping stuff.  She would always want ranch for everything so the Mom started giving her cottage cheese to dip her things in and the LO loved it.  She was dipping her grilled cheese and fries in there with great gusto.

Sounds WAY healthier than ranch, I'd go for it!!  My DD is only 10 months, but she won't eat anything unless I mix yogurt with it:)
