So last week they detected protein and glucose (i don't know the numbers) in my urine, so my doctor ordered an NST monitoring for me this week... (because he said this could be beginning signs of Pre-Eclampsia?)
What do they do during this NST monitoring?
Re: NST monitoring...
The put a fetal monitor around your belly and you sit there and listen to the baby's heartbeat for about 20-30 minutes while a little chart prints out his/her activity inside the womb. It is kinda boring actually, not painful at all (except for laying on an exam table for 30 minutes).
You will do fine, take a book or a magazine to help pass the time
