HELP...4.5 month old and naps

My 4.5 month old DD takes 30 minute catnaps throughout the day...she wakes up GRUMPY and looks like she wants to sleep more.  I have an older DD, too, so I can't always try and get the baby back to sleep.  She also isn't sleeping well during the night, which is probably because she isn't sleeping well during the day.  Any thoughts?  Advice?  Help???

FWIW, my older DD did the same thing until after she was 1 year old and I don't want to go through this again.

Ears or early teeth?

Could just be the general 4month non-sleep junk too though.  I think if you rule out ears & teeth, drink heavily & get through the best you can.  That's all I got.  One of mine was fine after the 4month mark, the other not til 16months.  *hugs*
