Kicks have been less strong the last two - three days. I am still getting 10 kicks in an hour they are just softer. I heard at one time less activity ment growth but I was wondering if he was starting to run out of room?
I'm not sure but I think that usually happens later, where the movements will become different (more turns and rolling than sharp kicks). Right now my LO's kicks are stronger than ever. Perhaps your LO just had a growth spurt and you need to catch up. But sometimes my LO has sluggish days and sometimes he's more active.
mine still has plenty of fluid.. so i have no idea. She goes from head down to head banging against my pelvic wing whenever she sees fit. I guess the light at the end of the tunnel isn't happening any time soon..
I would say baby really gets out of room around 35 weeks...lol... but my 'decrease' in movement happened around 37 or 38 wks. It just changes... instead of gigantic kicks you get big nudges...
One thing that I always have to remember when I'm not feeling as many movements, etc. is that the baby is probably just in a position where I can't feel him move - like if he kicks me internally and not on my stomach wall.

Not sure that my LO has run out of room, feels like s/he makes room wherever, although very painful to mommy. The movement has not slowed down since the first time I felt it, just gets more intense.
baby shouldn't get real tight untill 38-40 weeks is what I was told. It's possible when they feel light, baby is facing in toward you spine and your not feeling them so much on your stomach. I also had a week or two arond 27-28 weeks where the baby didn't mave as much randomly it was just after meals and when i would first lay down to get comfortable. I'm sure everything is fine if your still feeling some movement.
i feel rolls, and weird things sticking out of my belly now (im guessing knees and elbows b/c they are pointy). Plus now I feel weird things WAY down low, doc said its his hands/fingers (he is head down thank goodness).
Re: When does LO run out of room?
This may sound really dumb but how do you know when you quit making amniotic fluid? I didn't know that that happened.
