Ok, if you've seen J&K+8, you know that Kate isn't the victim of this split. 

She is on the Today show now and is acting like she's completely innocent and that she's done nothing wrong... Crying and going for the sympathy card.  Trust me, I don't condone Jon's behavior, but her performance this morning makes me sick... Everything she does is for publicity.

LOL.  I didn't see her interview.  I do think both parents suck big time. They shouldn't continue the show after they split up. The kids are going to be royally messed up in a few years. They've had cameras in their faces their entire lives. Umm....look at the trend with former child stars....helloooo?

I like her.  She is a little nuts, but I think she's a great mom.  If she has to act a little for publicity so she can continue to make a living for her kids I say she should act away!

I'm not a huge fan of the show as I don't believe in child exploitation...however, I do know that divorce SUCKS, as I've been through it, and whether or not you hate one or both of them it is a very emotional and heartwrenching process.

If she had tears, I get it. I don't think those were fake. I'm sure she's going through a lot of personal sh!t right now. Perhaps, I wouldn't do the talk show circuit, but her life seems to be playing out in the media anyhow.

I agree... she's a good mom to those kids... but I don't like the fact that in every interview she plays the poor-poor-pitiful victim... she is just as guilty as he is for that marriage falling apart.  She acts like she did nothing wrong... are you kidding?!?  She was all over him in EVERY show.... whining and b!tching about every single thing.  

And when she's asked if she's partly to blame for the split... she acts like she's not.   I'm just tired of her playing the part of the victim.  Makes me have less sympathy for her...

I agree she was a little crazy and probably pushed him away, but I think anyone who is cheated on is a victim.  If he just would've filed for divorce that would've been one thing, but he made the choice to cheat on her.   

I'm just glad the kids seem to be happy and healthy.  I am sure they will have some issues, but for now they seem ok.

I always defended her in the past when people called her a b*tch, but I totally see it now.

On the Aug 3 episode they were getting a kitchen remodel, and in the middle of talking about cabinets, she stops and is like "EWWww, can you get those out of my sight?  They are gross" - talking about some wilted flowers on the cabinet.  So Jon stops what he's doing, walks over, and throws them in the garbage right there.  She couldn't do that?  She treats him like crap, and even if he did cheat (which is that even confirmed?), why lower yourself to that level?  She just acts like a jerk, and she pretty much always has.  I think Jon wanted out of the show long before the divorce, and she was the one pushing the books and the sales and everything, so she is definitely pushing for the profit/attention/etc.

They only stayed TOGETHER for the tv show.. other then that Jon was allowed to date/ sleep around.. Its been mentioned in interviews with Jodi the Sister in law and kates brother... Kate just didnt want the media knowing they had problems...

I don't know if you can rely on information from scorned family members.

I agree with Amy.

I think Kate is an extremely high maint. and maybe even a biotch. But I do not believe that any spouse deserves to be cheated on. I think he should have said he wanted a divorce before he cheated. I think it is a cop-out. I think she probably is still hurt by the situation. Especially considering the man she thought she married turned into a douche bag.

I agree she is a good mom. I don't exactly agree with the show, but I still watch it. I think they should maybe just make it a summer special or whatever, not a full series. But if I had to support my 8 kids, I would not put it past me to have a show. You do what you need to do to support your kids. And I do not think a nurse's salary could support 8 kids.

BTW- Jon is supposed to be having an interview aired on E! news tonight.

They also edit the show to make her look a certain way. I guarentee you she said things to Jon a million times before getting snippy and they just edited it out. She is very organized- FFS she had 8 kids!

What amazes me here is that people 1) actually watch the show, and 2) act like it's not edited for the best ratings.

I think it's sad that two people with so many children are divorcing in front of the cameras.  Personally I think they're both douchebags for not saying enough is enough and dealing with their issues a little more intimately, but it really surprises me how many people are taking sides. At the end of the day, it's a "reality" show that's been filmed, cut up, and put back together to make for the best ratings possible.
