Does anyone have a pineapple upside cake recipe?

Smitten Kitchen has one.  I've never made this particular recipe, but she's never steered me wrong with any of her recipes I've tried.  It looks pretty good in the pics too.

I'm going to try the Smitten Kitten's recipe only with a few modifications. I'm going to buy a jar of Barefoot Contessa's caramel and I will buy a yellow cake mix and sub pineapple juice and dark rum for the liquid. Do box cakes all for a liquid? I assume they do. I'm only subbing the box because I know my hips will be killing me if I try to make a cake and dinner in the next couple hours. Oh the joys.

Epicurious is my go to site too. I just didn't want to search for a recipe. I guess I'm feeling lazy:)

This is exactly how I search for recipes. I've found some great tricks on tweaking recipes to make them more flavorful, healthier, and just plain better.

I love when someone completely changes the recipe and then gives it like two stars. That's the best.
