I just decided to do a full body scan again after googling.  Besides the spots on his face that I posted below, I just saw these spots under David's diaper.  They weren't there this morning (he had a few bumps, but I figured it was a slight diaper rash, since it is under his diaper).

This is the worst I have seen on either boy.  This is day 3 for David, and I know it should get progressively worse the first 4 days.

What's your verdict?  Cpox?  Impetigo?  Diaper Rash?

ETA - there is no pus anywhere on either of them.

Hmmm.  It just doesn't strike me as ch. pox.  I guess my leaning is toward impetigo given that both boys have it.

Hmmm, I don't know. I've never seen impetigo over large areas of the body especially various areas.  It was always localized to one area. But, I also don't think it looks like c-pox that I remember. I had chicken pox at like 17 years old (yeah, it sucked) and they were very itchy and got scabby.  I guess if your pedi has seen them I'd defer to that- but since they look more pimply I don't know.
