My Dh and I are going to start looking for a convertable car seat. Our little one is getting pretty long and now that she is 20lbs it's a bit much for me to lug her around in the infant carrier. Not to mention her little toes are pressing on the seat:/
Any recommendations?
Thank you:)
Re: new carseat, any rec's?
If you are looking for a more affordable carseat, we just got the Graco ComfortSport at Target for about $80 and I really like it.

In general, I don't recommend any of the lower weight limit seats. They are just not tall enough. Your child will outgrow them heightwise - well before they are ready for a booster (age 5-6). I'd say 98% of the time, kids outgrow their seat height before weight. With a higher weight comes a higher shell (height). So, while you might not need 65 lbs in a seat, you will need the height a 65 lbs seat offers. Therefore, I generally don't recommend any 40 lb seats (Graco Comfortsport, Evenflo Titan, Britax Roundabout or Diplomat). I also dislike all of the 3-in-1s (Eddie Bauer, Alpha Omega). They are a pain to install, they are outgrown way too early, and make super crappy boosters. All the things they claim they will do for you.
What do I recommend:
Britax Marathon, Boulevard, Roundabout 50
Sunshine Kids Radian (any variety 65, 80 or XT)
Evenflo Triumph Advance
First Years True Fit
Graco My Ride 65Thank you so much for all your suggestions!
Much appreciated:)
