I went through a box of stuff from HS that was at my mom's house last night.

Inside I found this little program from my senior prom.  I went with DH.  In the back were a few lines of stuff to fill out. 

• My date was - Tony.
• He wore - a black tux and a blue tie and vest.
• My flowers were - white roses.
• We arrived at King's II in a - white limo.
• The queen and king were - people I didn't know.
• Afterwards we - went to the Dining Car.
• We came home at - about 3 am.
• My favorite moment was - every dance I had with Tony.

 

Everyone together... Awwwwwwwww! 

Worst part about that prom was the fact that I had been hit by a car a few months before and I was still wearing one of those big black boots because my left tibia and fibula had been fractured.  Tony was sweet.  He carried me over to the photo area after I had taken off my boot and put on a dress shoe and supported most of my weight for the pic, then carried me back to a chair so I could put my boot back on.  I insisted upon dancing all night anyway.

And for additional fun, we have a picture from my senior prom in our living room.  And the photographer took a shot of it with our wedding bands on our wedding day.

*Sigh* I was so thin.

That is too cute.  My grandma and grandpa were high school sweethearts and prom king and queen.  We love it that we have the prom court photo of them.
