    We gave DS one right before he turned 2.  At first it always ended up on the floor, but now he uses it.

    DS started using one at about 13 months. He was really sick(bad cold/sinus infection). He was not sleeping well and we noticed he slept better propped up on my pillow in bed with us so we gave him a pillow in his bed and he slept better. We just left it in his bed after that.

    DD was a little over 2 when she started using one. She wanted nothing to do with one till we turned her bed into a toddler bed.
