Babies: 9 - 12 Months

How much formula or BM

is a nine month old supposed to be drinking? I can get Dd to drink 18-24oz a day, with maybe 2 oz of water if I'm lucky. Right now she does solids 3x/day. Her poop has been more formed lately, and I've been wondering if she's not getting enough liquid. TIA!

Re: How much formula or BM

  • That's PERFECT.  DS is the same way, and I'm pretty sure that's fine.  It's okay for the poop to be a little more formed, but you don't want pellets.  We keep things sort of neutral by if we give bananas one day, we make sure to give apples the next, and he stays pretty good.  The amount though, seems good!

  • DS is the same way. We are starting to wean from the bottle to a sippy cup at meals. And between 9 -10 months we will wean to whole milk (dr, rec)
